Beatrice Rana

Beatrice is a young prize-winning Italian pianist who drew mass attention for her ‘intensely personalized music-making’ (Dallas Morning News). She continues to build a reputation with her sophisticated interpretations of emotional depth. Gramophone magazine stated that she ‘possesses an old soul that belies her [then] 20 years, and more than a touch of genius’. In 2014 Rana made her first orchestral debuts with the LA Philharmonic, Detroit Symphony and Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Zurich and gave recitals at top venues such as Wigmore hall and Auditorium de Louvre.

More than a touch of genius.

ATMA Classique record label released her celebrated debut album that includes Scriabin's Sonata No. 2 Op. 19 and Chopin's 26 Préludes. Furthermore, the recordings of her interpretation of Schumann's Symphonic Études, Ravel's Gaspard de la nuit and Bartok's Out of Doors have been critically acclaimed.

Her startling technique remains among the most faultless of young pianists today.
