Repertoire

BIS’ projects include a Sibelius Edition of 68 discs recording every note the Finnish composer ever wrote. Furthermore, they have recorded the celebrated sacred cantatas by Bach in a Chapel in Kobe, Japan and Mozart Requiem both performed by the Bach Collegium Japan and musical director Masaaki Suzuki. Their repertoire consists of high quality recordings of interpretations of composers such as Wagner, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Couperin, Tchaikovsky, Handel, Schumann and Mendelssohn and more contemporary composers. It includes piano concertos, string ensembles, violin concertos, organ, well-known orchestras and choirs.
